Giotto wheels are perfect for making circles.
- Monocoque wheels produced by injection of a mix of thermoplastic polymer materials.
- The 63mm diameter is optimal for maximizing sliding.
- Their particular tapered profile is ideal for making circles.
- The chrome cover gives shine and elegance.
- The turned finish allows for competition use with minimal adjustment time.
- Available in four hardnesses (colours).
- Supplied in sets of 8 pieces
Each hardness of the wheels has been designed to adapt to a type of surface based on smoothness or roughness.
In general:
- The softer the wheel (or the lower the “Shore” hardness number), the greater the grip and the slightly lower smoothness.
- The harder the wheel, (or the higher the “Shore” hardness number), the greater the smoothness and the slightly less grip.
The following table shows the type of surface suggested for each wheel hardness:
| GIOTTO 47 | GIOTTO 49 | GIOTTO 53 | GIOTTO 57 | GIOTTO 60 |
Very slippery surfaces | Slippery surfaces | Medium surfaces | Adherent surfaces | Rough surfaces |
Each color corresponds to a specific hardness: 47 light blue, 49 grey, 53 beige, 57 cream, 60 white.
ATTENTION : factors such as humidity, dust, etc. can affect the seal of the surfaces.
For this reason it is preferable to have a variety of different types of wheels depending on where training and competitions take place.
Changing the wheels does not require an adaptation time but it is necessary to check that the wheels have a state of wear as similar as possible to each other.
