But what should I buy for the race?

Let's start by steps:

First of all you need to buy or wear, if you already have it, your own race dress. In most cases, the leotard needs to be consistent with the music you are going to perform and above all with a leotard that you like: after all, you will have to wear it yourself and interpret the performance yourself;

You need to know the surface you will be skating on: industrial concrete, parquet, tiles?

Each surface corresponds to a wheel. If you skate on parquet the most requested wheels are the Giotto 47D of the Roll Line or the Star CS40 Star Boiani (glitter- design - classic)

Many will have seen different wheels mounted on the same skate: this can happen especially when you choose to cross the wheels for difficulties that are performed both in training and in competition but, in summary, for the first competitions 8 identical wheels are required between them because the elements that are brought to the race guarantee excellent stability (and the expense is also reduced ;));

Another super popular question is: but in addition to the bodysuit, do they go with bare legs or do they wear stockings?

Here are our recommendations: with the classic American sock, a shoe cover model so to speak, we recommend that you also wear a flesh-colored shoe cover that will go under the sock. We recommend this as the skate hooks are ferrous and can puncture the sock; with additional protection, such as that of the flesh skate cover, not only is this phenomenon prevented from occurring, but on a visual level the beauty intensity of the sock increases as it becomes more homogeneous on the skate area which, on the contrary, will reveal the white of the skate.

When we recommend the bracket model

We recommend the stirrup model if your skate is in good shape: in the sense that it has no scratches or small dents, but is homogeneous in color. Basically we recommend it if the skate is new and they were purchased recently. Ditto for the heel cover which will only cover the heel of the skates.
